Queen’s Park legislators have set a universal standard for official plans, set to enact in 2028 the largest change we’ve seen to municipal land-use planning in decades. Housing advocates and planning experts say the public has the right to know about what’s coming as municipalities in the region, including Toronto, are on the cusp of an election season this fall.
