This year, Met Radio celebrates 10 years on the AM dial and we’re not done yet – we’re Stickin’ Around! By supporting our annual Fund Drive from November 9th to 15th you’ll be helping to celebrate the work we’ve done and everything we hope to do in the future!
Donations pledged to this year’s Fund Drive will go to supporting community events and outreach like the Met Radio Block Party that we want to bring back in 2027!
As always, we have a number of exclusive gifts to thank you for your generous support. The Stickin’ Around posters, stickers and shirts are designed by Lily Mendes, a TMU RTA major, current Met Radio staff member and designer based in Toronto.

Zine Making
On Tuesday, Nov 10th from 2-5pm, we’re hosting a zine making craft-ernoon at the station (55 Gould Street, Room 201)! With a special Stickin’ Around-specific prompt, you are invited to come hang out, do some collaging, and celebrate the start of Fund Drive! This will be printed as a special edition of our quarterly zine publication, Wah Wah. Materials will be provided.
Live from the SLC
On Wednesday, Nov 11th from 12-3pm, we’ll be going live from the SLC (341 Yonge St)! We’re in need of people to help table and spread the word about Fund Drive to TMU students.
Bake Sale
On Thursday, Nov 12th from 10am-1pm, we’re bringing back our annual bake sale with an added twist, a live drawing photobooth! This will take place in the SCC lobby on TMU campus, just downstairs from Met Radio (55 Gould Street). For those who don’t know, a live photobooth is much like a regular photobooth, but instead of pictures, people receive quick portrait sketches from an artist.
Bingo Night
On Friday, Nov 13th from 7-11pm, we’ll be hosting a bingo night fundraiser at The Met Campus Pub (63 Gould Street)! We’re hoping for a big turnout so please tell your friends and RSVP here. (18+)
Record Spinning Party
And finally, Sunday, Nov 15th from 7:30pm-late, our closing party will be a Met Radio classic, a Record Spinning Party at Wenona (1069 Bloor St W)! Bring a friend and your favourite record and come and celebrate the end of another amazing Met Radio Fund Drive! (19+)
