Wetland Project began in 2016 as a means of showcasing the soundscape of Canadian marsh ecosystems. Each Earth Day since then, radio stations across Canada have been invited to broadcast all or excerpts of a 24-hour recording from one marsh. The sounds of birds, frogs, insects, and airplanes take over the airwaves for this “slow radio” experience created by artists Brady Marks and Mark Timmings. For more info, visit The Wetland Project. Tune in for sounds of the marsh through out each respective hour throughout the day.

Met Radio will broadcast the 2026 edition of The Wetland Project, a recording from the ṮEḴTEḴSEN marsh in unceded W̱SÁNEĆ territory, Saturna Island, BC, on April 22 at the following times:
1:00 am ~ 6:00 am
8:00 am ~ 9:00 am
6:30 pm ~ 7:00 pm
