Remembrance Day

Ryerson in remembrance held a ceremony for Remembrance Day in the North End of the Quad.

Mental Health Week

Over this week, Ryerson will have various events that support Mental Health on campus!

TTC bus crash

A TTC bus crash left the aftermath of nine people injured and one dead Sunday morning. A car crashed into the bus and then went into a bank on Kipling avenue. Two people are still reported to be in critical condition and an investigation is on going.

Sixty-eight recommendations for transportation in Toronto

The report released by the TTC workers union made suggestions on how to improve transportation in Toronto since the TTC is expecting 60 million more riders in the next four years. It’s estimated the increase would cost the TTC $66 million annually due to these new riders.

The Naked Entrepreneur

Ryerson professor, Sean Wise’s show has been acquired by the Oprah Winfrey Network in Canada and will start airing in January.

Ryerson is number 8!

Ryerson was ranked 8 out of 49 Canadian Universities by Maclean’s Magazine. Ryerson tied with York University at number 8. Other Universities in top 10 include Queen’s University and the University of Toronto.

Dispatch: War Photographs in Print Exhibition at the Ryerson Image Centre

This week the Scope’s Michael Stolarczyk sat down with Katie Addleman one of the curators of the exhibit to discuss it’s latest exhibit at the Ryerson Image Arts Centre. The exhibit features newspaper photographs from wars between 1854 to 2008.
