Show Your Support: Get Ryerson on the Air

 

Broadcasting online since April 2013, The Scope at Ryerson is committed to building a radio station that Ryerson and Toronto can be proud of. 

 

As you may know The Scope has applied for an AM not for profit, volunteer-driven, campus/community license so we can better serve our community. The application process involves a number of steps and we’re pleased to announce that in a recently posted Broadcasting Notice of Consultation, the CRTC included our application and set a hearing date for September. 

 

We’re excited to see our application move forward, and get us closer to the AM dial but now we need your help. 

 

We’re putting out a call for letters of support. Tell us and the CRTC why campus radio matters to you and your community.

Submit your letter online on the CRTC’s website. There are a number of applicants listed so be sure to select our application (filed under our legal name: 2014-0149-7 – Radio Ryerson Inc.).

• include ***End of document*** after the last paragraph to confirm that the document hasn’t been damaged during transmission
